Racism Kills Black Daughter-in-Law..

Racial Intolerance has evoked a Man to kill his Daughter-in-law!! Chiman Rai, an Indian born business man, was subjected to seven charges including murder and burglary since he has been found guilty of plotting his daughter-in- law’s murder. Sparkle Michelle Rai, the poor daughter-in-law, was killed just for the reason that she was of black origin.

Mr. Ricky Rai, the son of Chiman Rai and a hotel general manager, hired Ms Sparkle Reid as a clerk and they got married by March 2000 after dating for 2 years. Chiman Rai was very upset with this son’s marriage and strongly believed that it may spoil his family values. Sparkle Reid Rai was found dead in her flat on April 26,2000.

According to the reports, two women arrived at the apartment of Ricky, pretending to deliver a package. A strange man then strangled Sparkle Reid Rai with a vacuum cleaner cord and stabbed her nearly 12 times. Mr. Ricky rai had earlier said to the investigators that his father is a little racist. Prosecutors will be seeking the death penalty for Chiman Rai for masterminding the murder.

'I feel justice has been served for my granddaughter and for my family. My daughter's not going to come back, but she is smiling now,' said Mr. Bennet Reid after hearing the verdict.
