This was made possible using a new modulation technique that allows data to be transferred between two routers placed up to 2,000 kilometers apart with out any transponders in-between and the optical fibers were used to avoid any loss of data. With this brand new technology we can download a full length movie in just 2 secs. In short this is a low cost, high capacity and long distance internet connection.
